OUR BUSINESS POLICY CONCERNING QUALITY
As much as we would like to, we cannot provide both quality workmanship and premium parts, and provide our customers with lower-than-market-standard prices.
Our regular clients know that our prices are in the upper bracket of the industry, but they come back time and again because they know we do the job right, and warranty both the parts we provide and the workmanship we carry out.
Further to this, we will run honest “specials” from time to time, but will not run loss leaders just to draw clients in, or use high pressure tactics to “sell” unneeded parts or work.
We will tell our clients about real deficiencies in their automobiles, give them an honest quotation concerning repair costs and timelines, and then leave the decision in their hands as to whether they want the work done, and when.
Please note that our labor rates must include the wage of a licensed technician, plus overhead costs such as rent, equipment costs, insurance, utilities, business taxes, etc. It is also important to be mindful of the fact that our prices include a profit allowance so that we may continue to provide quality service to our many valued friends and clients for years to come.
Please do not hesitate to ask for a quotation on any work or service. We are not ashamed to quote our rates and if time allows tell you what extras you get for the sometimes-higher costs than those provided by some of our competitors.
Profits earned from the margin of our parts sales are a crucial element of BP Heavy Duty’s business plan. Sourcing our own parts allows us to ensure that we have control over the level of quality and workmanship leaving our shop. As such, customer provided parts will only be used at the sole discretion of BP Heavy Duty. We reserve the right to refuse the use of customer provided parts on any unit. Should BP Heavy Duty elect to make use of customer provided parts, we reserve the right to charge an increased labor rate for work relating to those parts. Customer provided parts will not be warrantied under any circumstances.
